Raum_I Racing Green

Meet Raum_I in Racing Green; probably the most adventurous looking of the three variants.

Built like a tank made of 316L stainless steel, Raum is made for prominence even when measuring only at 42mm in diameter, 48mm lug to lug. An angular design at first glance but is actually curvaceous in totality, brushed and polished in alternating surfaces.

Makina Raum Movement
Underneath the sapphire crystal...

Is a very 3 dimensional dial with embossed metallic markers for odd hours and with even hours represented by concave shapes carved into the brass made dial. We opted to go with gold plated brass hands that we think add character to the entire piece... plus, it matches what's on the back.

On the back...

Is an automatic Sellita SW 200-1 (38 hr power reserve), visible through an exhibition caseback. Raum_I will be the first from Makina to sport a Swiss movement. Apart from the back of the case being uniquely flat, the case construction of Raum is quite different; the traditional circular caseback shape that you see in the photo is actually one piece with the sides and lugs.

Makina Raum inside

Raum I Racing Green is dressed in a genuine calf leather strap, hand-made and hand-stitched (quick release spring bars), with a deployant clasp for convenience and protection of the leather.

It is intended to be versatile and can be worn as a sporty dress watch, as well as a rugged daily wear adventurer.

Raum will be produced in limited quantities and will be released in small batches.
