QUICCS is one of the most influential voices in the global designer toy movement, renowned for a visual universe shaped by street art, contemporary pop culture, and collectible design. For this special edition, MAKINA's design-driven approach to watchmaking provides the canvas for QUICCS' unmistakable artistic language, with his iconic Manila Killa serving as the centerpiece of the watch. Released in celebration of Philippine Independence Day, this special edition pays tribute to a new generation of Filipino creativity—where art, design, and culture intersect.

ITS GEOMETRIC FRAME

Forged from surgical-grade stainless steel, Andras_II balances sharp lines, faceted surfaces, brushed textures, and polished accents in a form where meticulous hand-finishing meets machine-made precision. Measuring 33 × 44 mm and protected by scratch-resistant sapphire, its architectural profile provides the perfect stage for the protagonist within. Included are three interchangeable rubber straps in red, white, and yellow, allowing the watch to take on a different personality with each change.
 
 
A MACHINE'S PORTRAIT
 
Beneath sapphire crystal, QUICCS' Manila Killa occupies center stage, elevated above the dial surface and bringing physical depth to graphic illustration. Created using a multi-layer UV printing process, the artwork is gradually built up rather than simply printed, introducing texture, shadow, and dimension throughout the composition. As light moves across the dial, the raised surfaces reveal subtle details and contours that conventional printing cannot achieve. Drawing from the colors of the Philippine flag, the hands introduce flashes of red and blue, while a yellow sword-shaped seconds hand sweeps across the dial. What begins as illustration becomes object, with the dial bringing one of QUICCS' most recognizable creations to life, making collectible art wearable art.

Beneath the artwork lies the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, a long-standing Japanese caliber respected for its reliability and straightforward serviceability. Featuring automatic winding, central seconds, and date functionality, it provides the mechanical foundation for daily wear. While the artwork commands attention, the movement quietly performs its role behind the scenes—keeping the piece in motion, one sweep at a time.​
