MAKINA Azazel_I: Built for daily wear. Ready for whatever survives it.
A case silhouette like no other: sandblasted, raw, and ready. Its dial breaks from the familiar. A unidirectional timing bezel. Upgraded water resistance. This is Makina’s only demon that’s built for wear, for impact, for whatever’s ahead. A watch that looks as if it’s already been through something... and came out stronger.
Raw Geometry. Tough Skin. No Excuses.
Made of surgical-grade 316L stainless steel, its case design is like nothing else we’ve made — raw, sculptural, and finished in a rough sandblasted texture that hides scratches and feels carved from something out of this world. Utilitarian but contemporary in design, it’s built to look like it belongs in hostile territory, not behind glass. The unidirectional bezel turns with 120 crisp, mechanical clicks — the kind that feel deliberate, not decorative. With 200 meters of water resistance, this is a watch made to push your everyday frontiers, not just survive them. The domed sapphire crystal is treated with a triple-layer anti-reflective coating, keeping visibility sharp from any angle. And paired with a durable silicone strap, Azazel_I stays comfortable for longer hauls — wherever you’re headed.
The Dial: part architecture, part artifact.
Geometric and unconventional in its layout, it plays with layered surfaces and negative space to create something familiar, but not quite. At its center, a rotating disc serves as a seconds indicator — a quiet, continuous motion that adds to the dial’s sense of depth and tension. New hand designs debut here, hinting at what’s to come in future Makina models. And with luminous detailing throughout, Azazel_I stays visible when the light disappears — because not everything ends at sundown.
The Machine inside the Machine.
Inside Azazel_I is the Sellita SW260-1 — a Swiss automatic movement with a small seconds display that powers the rotating disc at 6 o’clock. Operating at 28,800 beats per hour, it offers smooth motion, a 38-hour power reserve, and modern essentials like hacking and hand-winding. Reliable, precise, and built to last — it’s the mechanical heartbeat of a watch that’s made to be worn hard.
